Swimming: If asthma is controlled, then all physical activities should be considered possible. However, exercising in cold, dry air may trigger exercise-induced bronchoconstriction or asthma; this includes skiing, ice skating, hockey, etc. Exercising in warm, humid air may be better tolerated; that's where the swimming comes in.
