No real correlation: The effectivity of atenolol has no correlation with ingestions of meal, however taking them with a meal might lessen some of the unpleasant side effects. If you are taking Atenolol every 2-3 hours i consider that to be too much. As long as you are controlled with a primary care physician there is nothing to worry about. It is always important to discuss this with you doctor and never automedicate.
