Can seasonal allergies cause breathing problems if you do not have asthma? i was tested for asthma and it was negative.

Tested ?????: Asthma is not one condition. It has a spectrum of expression from so mild you may never know to so bad 4 meds a day are required for modest control. A mild form called "cough variant" asthma may not be evident on some tests. It triggers cough periodically that improves with asthma meds but doesn't to cough meds. A review of history. exam and other tests may sort it out.
