Does ringworm have anything to do with your immune system? ive heard its from a low immune system but im rarely sick.

Myth: Ringworm is a lay term for fungus that can implant on your skin surface from casual contact with dirt/animals or other humans. It lives off the older surface layer of your skin & has does not trigger or interact with your immune system at all.

Hello.. I'm being treated for ringworm, have had many creams and also tablets, Tablet did start to work but had to stop(Liver),Is it my immune.
I have developed consistent ringworm on my shoulders, and was wondering if this is synptom of immune deficiency?
I have had recurring resistant ringworm for the last 3 years. My doc treats it with 10 days oral terbinafine which works but then it comes back after 2 months. I don't have any immune problems. Now it's back & widespread. Why is this happening?
