No: Our skin surface is like a bed of leaves on the forest floor. The oldest skin is near the top while the newest skin is at the bottom. Ring worm occurs when the fungal spores get into the top layers & eat the older skin. It doesn't go deep enough to go near the blood where it would affect your immune system. Some local immune factors are occasionally active but nothing important.
