Don't starve: Starving yourself is not the way to lose weight. It is dangerous because you will not be getting all the minerals and vitamins you need, which can lead to heart problems. Also, at very low calorie intake the body shuts down calorie burning and this makes it even harder to lose weight. The very lowest calorie intake i would recommend would be 1200 for a woman and 1600 for a man. And exercise.
