Shouldn't: I'd be reluctant to attribute significant persistent muscular discomfort to sleeping and lying around too much. Temporary stiffness would be more like it. Look for other causes like fibromyalgia, side effects from medications like statins, if you take them, calcium or magnesium deficiencies, overuse from exercise or occupation or autoimmune disorders. Consult a rheumatologist if symptoms persist.
