What else: Did EKG show anything? Did you stay to repeat troponin 3-4 hours after the first reading? Other than chest pain did you have any symptoms? Did you ask your doctor why s/he wanted to give the medication? You could have had a pulmonary embolus and not a heart attack and the proposed medication would have been appropriate.
