I have been on activelle for the last 3 years and still have spotting or sometimes a menstral flow for 2 weeks. i am 48. what should i do, it gets very embarrassing as i do not expect it to happen?

Your doctor: can order an ultrasound to measure your uterine lining. Also sampling of the uterine lining can be helpful. Sometime a curettage of the uterine lining is appropriate. Endometrial (uterine lining) ablation is also an option if the testing of the lining shows no abnormal cells.
