Hello, i'm 28 years old, 2 weeks ago i had my menstrual and now i'm having slight spotting. what could cause this?

Irreg spotting: hello~ you dont mention WHEN in the cycle and if you are on BCP so impossible to give correct answer, but if NOT on BCP and soon after end (2-5 days) this is prob normal. later in cycle,ie; before and after day 14 probably early ripening, and/or shedding of endometrium which is ~ normal.
