Nursing!!: As long as a bay otherwise seems fine, don't stress over a few days without bowel movements. Breast fed babies may go with every feed or may g much less often. Bottle fed babies tend to go less often but daily at least is the rule for all infants. That being said, I have seen healthy breast fed babies go many days without BMs.

Depends: Breast fed babies can poo a little every feed or overflow a diaper once every 7-10 days. If soft it is normal. Straining or grunting sounds also do not mean constipation.If baby puts out rabbit pellets they are extracting too much water from their poo. Occasionally the combination of formula + bm can lead to irregularity. It true constipation 1oz of full strength prune juice 1-3X daily helps.
