How low?: If in the low range or even slightly below, and have no symptoms, that could be just herself, although other parameters matter, and definitely more history and good physical examination before talking about causes or entertaining a diagnosis. Ask her doctor for a hematologist referral if this is a major health concern, wish you both wellness
