Heavy breathing chest pain sharp

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest pain: Heavy breathing can be from anxiety, a lung clot, pneumonia, sudden collapse of a portion of the lung, asthma attack, and many other conditions. Some of these needs an emergency room visit. Sharp chest pain with this is concerning for the collapse of the lung or possible clot which are both emergencies. Collapse lungs are common in tall thin young people.
