If trying to conceive - would you recommend my wife not taking her 10mg of ritalin? she would only be taking it for 4 days as it is prescribed as a daily issue. only needed for longer periods of concentration. thanks.

Not particularly: I doubt if using it has any effect on the process. The average wait for a desired conception has been cited as 6 mo with a range of weeks to a year. If you have gone past a year without success both prospective parents could benefit from a consultation at a fertility center. If a problem is found they can fix it or explain options.
