GI consult ASAP: The time of nite that you wake up actually has a great deal of meaning . . Chronic nocturnal diarrhea with blood and mucus ,can be a sign of a more serious health condition, such , a bowel disorder, or an infection. Treatment depends on the severity of the symptom and its underlying cause. Blood in stools and wt loss are worrisome symptoms and should be investigated.Colonoscopy is recommended.
