Tooth extraction: Usually after a few days the extraction site will not bleed that much. Did you have suures? They may have pulled on the delicate tissue. Nosebleed? Possibly. Only an examination can answer your question, so visit your dentist if the bleeding has not stopped.

Loss of clot: It's possible the extraction site was not healing properly and now you have lost the clot. This is especially possible if no sutures were placed or if sutures lost prematurely. Please call the practitioner who did your surgery and request a post-surgical reevaluation. This should not be a difficult issue to resolve.
