I have had tinea versicolor appear and disappear for over 13 years now. is there a way to rid of it completely whether by medication or procedure?

Diff to eradicate: t.v tends to worsen in warmer mos and abates in cool weather. Quite often runs in families, but essentially not very serious. Would see a dermatologist for poss Tx. I hesitate to use oral antifungals for the problem, but use shampoos and top antifungals with good success. Diligence in application of the meds is essential for consistent results. Good luck.
