Cardiology: evaluation and EKG by your PCP or cardiologist. You are describing intermittent "extra heartbeats : either PVCs ( premature ventricular contractions ) or apcs ( atrial premature contractions ). You may also need blood work and a 24 cardiac monitoring. If frequent and persistent, I advise ER evaluation.

Cut out refined carbs + sugar frm diet ysterdy. Now getting occasional heart palps (skip beat feeling ~10x/day). Worry? Should i go back 2 old diet?
