Pregnant w/dermoid: The dermoid itself will not have any effect on the baby or the developing pregnancy. That said, given the size, it runs the risk of causing ovarian torsion or labor obstruction. Discuss the pros and cons of removal vs. expectant management with your OB. Your dermoid is really reaching the size where removal after the first trimester may be recommended.
