This started a week ago. i can walk but the pain is severe and my gait is bad leaning to the right with legs spread and that is causing back spasms. i have a dr appt tomorrow and am worried theyll say its my bursitis and nothing they can do?

Worries: Your worries are justified and the fact you are seeing a doctor tomorrow is the right thing to do. Bursitis, in case that proves to be the diagnosis would be treatable and responds nicely to treatment. In the long run weight loss will be critical as overuse arthritis is becoming increasingly common.
