A member asked:

Should breast mri always be done in conjunction with mammo?? even for screening purposes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends on: your history and family history as well on the density of your breast tissue. For folks with no history or family history, less likely to be needed. Dense breast tissue would change that recommendation in many cases, as well.
