Varies: Need diagnostic testing and probably surgical biopsy. There are benign conditions like histoplasmosis, that can be diagnosed and have a good prognosis. Primary or secondary malignancies at multiple locations have a bad outlook!

So I had a chest X-ray done a week ago, they found some nodules, well when I went back to a different emergency room they did a CT scan of my chest and lungs and found no nodules, is this possible? To just get rid of them over a week period?
