A member asked:

Is 3880 gms at 34.6 weeks ok. my doctors thinks its ok since i am having a boy. i think i may have gestational diabetes. even though i passed the test?

Large for dates ?: "3880 g." at "34.6w" is a large infant. Ask your OB about induction of labor, as you may end up with a Cesarean section if you are not delivered prior to 39 weeks. The "test" for gestational diabetes is usually a blood test after a glucose load. Excess weight gain is usually a diet issue (too many carbohydrates during pregnancy) which can contribute to the weight of the fetus.
