Change meds: Responses to drugs are highly variable. Less than 10% of people report a cough when taking enalapril; for many of those it's mild. Sounds like this isn't a good fit for you. I'd ask your doctor to prescribe a different medicine. Enalapril is an ACE inhibitor; you may or may not tolerate a different ACE inhibitor better but a similar class of meds called ARB's may work as well without side effects.
