14 wk old?: I don't know how an optometrist could begin to assess the sight of an infant. You need to ask your pediatrician to examine and if the inequality is confirmed, possibly refer you to an ophthalmologist.

Some basics: There can be a subtle difference in the size of pupils in as many as 20% of normal infants. The difference is usually less than a millimeter. It tends to be more prominent is low light situations & can run in families. An evaluation by an ophthalmologist would be worthwhile. I would not begin to apply the worrisome labels when this is relatively common in normal kids.
