Needs more info: If the optometrist has done an examination with fluorescein and your vision is fine and they have given you antibiotic eye drops then likely on the right treatment but will need review. However if there's any doubt about this/what's been done - as you say needs an urgent doctor assessment -either GP, emergency doctor or ophthalmologist so safer to get checked or contact optometrist again.
