Depends on the kid: Some kids are quite sensitive to the odor/smell of cigarette smoke & might have an asthma flare or more congestion. Many would not. I had to expel smoking nurses from the newborn nursery service because they made babies sick. The issue is relative. It is fair to say it does not improve their health status.
