Low: Second hand smoking is a risk factor for lung cancer and other medical problems but the odds of having lung cancer at your age are quite low but not impossible, of course. My advise: see your doctor for evaluation of your persistent cough and stay away from that smoke. Best to you.

Minimal: There is a great deal of debate as to the effects of second hand smoke. Most of the studies are estimates or extrapolations. You have more to fear from automobile and industrial pollution. If you don't smoke, your chances of getting lung cancer are greatly reduced.

HIghly unlikely: Your risk at this age would be extremely low but you are still at a slightly higher risk to develop lung cancer later in life from the exposure. I would not lose sleep over it however since the risk is at best minimal. If you are concerned because of a chronic cough, you should see your doctor.
