A member asked:

With hiv, do symptoms go away during stage 2? ex: fever, swollen lymph nodes, thrush- will they be there for 10yrs straight without treatment?

Old terminolgy: You are using decades old terminology no longer used. Nobody classifies HIV by "stage" anymore. Symptoms of HIV may come and go, regardless of how advanced the infection (or immune deficiency) may be. If you have proved HIV infection, follow your doctor's advice about treatment. If you haven't had positive blood tests, your symptoms are not from HIV. See your doctor if uncertain.
