Depends: A literal pinched nerve in the shoulder can be treated with physical therapy vs injections vs surgery. Often, however, a sensation of a pinched nerve in the shoulder is caused by a cervical pinched nerve, and even shoulder pathology such as a rotator cuff tendonitis could be mistaken for a pinched nerve in the shoulder. If your symptoms do not improve over time, see a physician.
