A member asked:

I went overseas where we walked a lot. my knee hurts and i believe it is runners knee. i am still in a lot of pain. should i see a gp or physio?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

GP: I would recommend seeing GP and getting exam. Could be runner knee or patelofemoral syndrome or patellar tendinitis. Could also be a chronic meniscal issue. They can ascertain whether or not PT or specialist referral is necessary.
