i have nasal congestion for 4 weeks now. and post nasal drip and mild dry cough. my colds usually last one week but this is long. could it be serious?

Allergy?: This may be from allergy. Try an OTC steroid spray for a week to see if this helps. About 10% of the people end up with a bacterial sinusitis after a viral URI and if the nasal steroid failed, consult your doctor.
