Be supportive: Hodgkins disease is one of the most curable forms of cancer. Nearly 90 percent of folks recover fully and live normal lives after their treatment has been completed. So you need to share this positive or bright side of the story with your friend and provide full support and ggive hope for full recovery. Cancer pateints need love and support of their friends and families lest they feel abandoned.

Keep being a friend: Continue to be your friend's friend. One of the most positive things you can do is to mirror back reality to your friend. People with cancer can sometimes develop tunnel vision & their whole life surrounds around their disease. Continue to do the fun things that you used to (within reason). Don't let your friend forget about the things that are neat about him/ her. Continue to enjoy each other.
