To be honest,: I have never heard of "cataplexy of a small muscle group". The definition of cataplexy is "a medical condition in which strong emotion or laughter causes a person to suffer sudden physical collapse though remaining conscious." I think you are describing neuropathy which affects the sensory system and by doing so has a side effect of altering fine movements simply because we depend on the sensati
