Red Flags to watch: In medical school in our first day of pathology we were taught in latin to watch for "calor, dolor, rubor, and tumor" i.e. Heat, pain, redness, and swelling. The four classical signs of inflammation. I have no idea what or when was it "stitched up." throbbing pain and numbness" can be indicative of something (not necessarily related to a laceration repair). Have it examined by a professional.
