Is there a way to help my husband survive colon cancer?

Survive: Support (emotional, spiritual, family, friends), proper therapy-surgery (depending on stage). Colon cancer has many treatment option (that's the positive of it) and many are cured. Again, it depends on what stage is your husband's stage. I'll pray for him and you.

Love him: Nothing you can do will affect the natural history of his illness. If he does not get a surgical cure, then it is possible that he will get a few good years from radiation and/or chemotherapy. The most important single factor in the quality of his life, regardless of outcome, is you. Be helpful, respect his autonomy, and remain affectionate and good-natured, doing what you can to keep him happy.
