Can my sister survive colon cancer that has spread to her stomach?

Possibly.: Once cancer has spread outside the place it started, it is much harder to cure. If the cancer can be surgically removed from her stomach, or if it disappears with chemotherapy, it's possible she could be cured. But it's more likely the cancer will only be kept in check by treatment and not cured. I'm sorry to give you this news.
