Doubt it: GERD treatment is always a work in process. Avoiding foods & behaviors that aggravate the process are a necessary addition to any meds. Not consuming caffeine within 6 hrs of laying down, avoiding laying down for 1-2 hrs after meals, reducing meal volumes & acidic drinks are all add ons to help reduce symptoms. GERD is potentially life long but you learn reduce its activity over time.
