Hip pain in the groin area that is worse after resting and then really hurts when i go to move my leg?

Probable muscular : strain,possibly related to overuse or physical activity. Requires examination: having said that the hip and groin are located in separate areas of the body so I would recommend use of ibuprofen ( Advil ) or naproxyn sodium ( Aleve) if not allergic to NSAIDS or aspirin. Topically I would recommend Bio-Flex liniment.
