Atrial fib: Whether fast or slow, you still have atrial fib and risk for stroke. Coumadin, xeralto or eliquis recommended

A fib : Yes, aspirin alone is not the best way to prevent clots from A-fib, and additional blood thinners are commonly recommended. There are usually more benefits to these blood thinners than the risks for many, if not, most patients. At times that risk reverses, let's say you had a bleeding issue, like bleeding in the brain. Such treatments should be associated with a discussion with your doctor.
