My 2.5 year old son has rashlike lumps/patches on his tummy. was not there a few hours ago. i have given him allergex. should i rush him to an emergency hospital?

?emergency?: Rashes are common in a 2.5 yo & seldom urgent much less emergent. They may reflect a reaction to a food, illness, bug bites, etc. If the kid has difficulty breathing, active blood loss, an obvious broken bone or appears lethargic I consider the issue emergent. I would monitor the issue at home & try to figure out a possible cause. A call to the kids doc may be in order.
