Shingrex: The newest shingles vaccine is a lab synthesized product that triggers the body to awaken/build immunity to the virus that causes shingles. If you ever had chickenpox or the vaccine you can develop shingles. The newer vaccine differs from the old at not being a weak live virus, being more effective for longer. It is recommended for anyone over 50.
