A member asked:

Hadca ecg today says comparing to 2/19/18 right ventricular hypertrophy now present says right vcd or rvh what does it mean real difficulty breathing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

RVH: The combination of RVH and shortness of breath, in the absence of valvular or congenital heart disease, is characteristic of chronic pulmonary disease or idiopathic pulmonary hypertension. A cardiologist is best to first evaluate and advise you. Referral to a pulmonologist may be made if chronic pulmonary disease, like fibrosis, is felt to be the primary problem.
