RVH: The combination of RVH and shortness of breath, in the absence of valvular or congenital heart disease, is characteristic of chronic pulmonary disease or idiopathic pulmonary hypertension. A cardiologist is best to first evaluate and advise you. Referral to a pulmonologist may be made if chronic pulmonary disease,like fibrosis, is felt to be the primary problem.
