Ovulation gaps ?: Anovulatory cycles usually have no bleeding associated unless there have been multiple anovulatory cycles , allowing thickening of the lining of the womb due to continued estrogen production without ovulation, and breakdown of the lining cells. Fibroid tumors and polyps can also cause bleeding, so see your gyn physician if this continues.
