Could be incidental: Passing clotted blood during a menstrual period happens to a lot of otherwise healthy women. If you've been sexually active, it could be a very, very early miscarriage. If this happens constantly, you could have one of many clotting disorders/hypercoagulable states like Factor V Leiden (most common), anti-phospholipid antibody syndrome, inflammatory bowel...long list. Might just have been random.
