You're okay: At your age, it's normal for their to be some fluxuations in your period. You are at an appropriate weight so that isn't the problem. Sometimes this can be due to changes in hormones from your ovaries. If you want to stop the breakthrough bleeding, consider a birth control. That will likely solve the problem. Also, the abnormal bleeding may correct on it's own as well. Hope that helps!
