A member asked:

My cbc states, "absolute lymphopenia without leukopenia". what does this mean? would this explain fatigue and weakness?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymphopenia: This means that your total white cell blood count is normal but in the differential white blood cell count the lymphocytes are less than normal. This may be a nonspecific finding if the remainder of the differential count is normal. Reduced red blood cell level(anemia) is a common cause of fatigue. I suggest more testing to include thyroid tests, iron level. Your physician can advise you best, howe
