Control your lipids: There are several supplements that improve cholesterol. Below are the most common. Fish oils are good for lowering triglycerides. Krill oil (a type of fish oil - extracted from the crustacean krill) has been shown to raise hdl, and lower LDL in addition to lowering the triglycerides. Red yeast rice is great for lowering the ldl. It is similar in make up to statins (ie Lipitor (atorvastatin) or simvastatin).
