A member asked:

Had mri that showed nonspecific do i without enhancement in the white matter of both cerebral hemispheres and largest in frontal lobe 4x8 mm?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

White matter: These changes are considered nonspecific as they are found in various conditions like cerebral vascular disease, cardiovascular diseases, dementia, multiple sclerosis, major psychiatric disorders, increased intracranial pressure and certain inflammatory/autoimmune diseases. Your physician or neurologist, who knows you best, can best advise you of the significance of these findings on your MRI.
