Maybe/not: Ptosis can be single sided or both sides. If it is one side you can usually look in the mirror & see an obvious difference in the location of the lids . If it effects both sides that would be less obvious. The point to which the lids drop while awake should never be at a level that blocks any portion of the pupil. If it does it is abnormal.
